Casual summer fitness shorts

These shorts are so amazing that i bought a 2nd pair (I asked Santa Clause for more, too). The zipper pockets are great at the gym for carrying my keys, phone, etc. The material is very comfortable and I don't feel like I'm going to rip my shorts during squats. These are my go-to shorts and I highly recommend them for working out.

I keep my iPhone with me when I go to the gym because I use it to track my activity. I put it in the side picket of my gym shorts. This created 2 problems- It got in the way on certain exercises and slipped out of my pocket on some others. A few times I didn't even realize it fell out. I looked around in various retail stores to find gym shorts with zippered side and back pockets. I found none in the stores. I checked here on Amazon and I found this. These shorts are perfect for my purpose. They are very reasonably priced and come in a number of great colors. I like them so much that I bought two more pair. I will only wear these type of shorts when I am at the gym, taking walks or riding my bike.I bought these to wear while cycling, I have had skin cancer in the past and sunscreen just doesn't do the job on a 2 hour bike ride. These are cool and breathable, not as cool as shorts but nothing that overrides the benefit of the sun protection. I live and cycle in Texas and wear these when it 100 degrees during these summer months. They are not narrow at the ankles so I just put a rubber and to keep the shorts leg out of my crankset.

When I purchased these shorts our weather was 90 degrees and 90 humidity. When they arrived, I immediately tried them on for size. FIT! Then I tested the "cool factor." They kept me cool, they didn't keep the moisture or heat and they had pockets for my cell phone. Later if there are issues with the "longevity of this item" I will repost. But, I must say I LOVE THEM!
