EASY ASSEMBLY / DISMANTLING Free-standing structure for easy set up and fold. Assembles in only 2 Seconds. Folds up easily thanks to the Easy Guide System. Portable lightweight tent 7.30 lb
DARKNESS – FRESH & BLACK patented exterior fabric: 99% darkness even in broad daylight.
HEAT REDUCTION – Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be extended and fixed with side guy ropes (opening from the inside). The air can circulate in the sleeping area. The entire rear sleeping area flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a rope. 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the middle of the sleeping area to allow the air to be refreshed and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation. Fresh concept reduces the sun’s heat.
WATERPROOF – Tested under a shower at 200 mm water/hour/m² (tropical rain) and field tests.
DURABILITY – Withstands 50 km/h winds (Force 6): validated in a wind tunnel on a turntable.

Note:

The new 2 Seconds, just as quick to pitch, now has the Easy system to help you fold it down. The Fresh and Black technology keeps the tent Cool for sleeping comfortably. It also keeps it Dark, making it a black out tent. ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY Rapid set-up. Freestanding tent (you place it wherever you want once set up and, if there’s no wind, you can use it with no pegs = direct use!). Folds up easily thanks to the Easy guide system. VENTILATION Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be extended and fixed with side guy ropes (opening from the inside). PROTECTION FROM THE SUN The Ti0² coated fabric has a UPF of 50 +. Warning: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door. Protect your skin with sun cream. WATERPROOFING All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (whole tent under 200 L / m² / h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (Polyester 2000mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 120 g/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet. WIND RESISTANCE We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 50 km/h near the ground (Force 6).

Good quality and easy to set up. The big entrance is very convenient. Be aware that rain water enters the tent when the awning is up. Closing the awning prevents rain from entering but you loose ventilation. Something critical in our tropical climate.

So far so good. This tent does not come seam fully seam sealed. I highly recommend sealing it up if you are going to be in rain. We just took it on our first outing and of course we had 20mph steady with 40-60mph gusts. Tent held up fine. It was a little loud inside but no tears or rips. You will need better tent stakes if you are in wind. We made some out of small re bar and the tent stayed anchored all night.

I bought this tent for my husband to use in Wyoming. He was highly satisfied. This tent stood up from heavy thunderstorms and high winds. Did not leak at all. My husbands tent was the only standing in the camp ground after the storm. He didn’t use the stakes that come with the tent. He bought and used some heavy duty tent stakes which probably help.

I love this tent! I'm an experienced camper and was hesitant to put much faith in this design. My wife, son, and I weathered a thunderstorm in this tent. It did absolutely great! I don't think I would use it in particularly cold weather but it did great for us during normal temps.

Love this teepee. We like to sit out in it on an air bed to read or nap during the day. There is occasionally some water on the floor. Not sure if it is condensation or leakage. Very nice to have the option of using just screen. Easy to switch from all screen to covered and to set up.
